Cooking Classes

Cooking with Color is cooking workshop & program offered at Evans Center Inc., designed to bring a burst of color to your meals and your life! Our cooking classes are open to everyone, from youth to seniors, and offer a range of options for individuals and families. Learn how to cook with fresh, colorful ingredients and turn your meals into works of art. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the cooking process, while providing tips on nutrition and healthy eating habits. Join us for a fun and educational culinary experience that will leave you feeling inspired and ready to create your own colorful, healthy meals at home.

Food Prescription Vouchers

Food Pharmacy

Evans Center is a unique community center and grocery store that serves the people of Brevard County, Florida. Not only does Evans Center provide essential groceries to those in need, but it also offers a Food Prescription Voucher (FVRx) program in partnership with Brevard Health Alliance (BHA). Through this program, doctors at BHA are able to evaluate whether or not a patient is eligible for a FVRx, which can be redeemed at Evans Market for up to $20 in fresh produce, veggies and fresh or frozen fish. Evans Center is dedicated to providing the people of Brevard County with the resources they need to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

In partnership with Brevard Public Schools and Career Source Brevard, Evans Center is proud to host this extended program. Adult students will explore career opportunities and receive hands on training to obtain certifications in multiple industry trades.
